Announcement
Some updates from the parent meeting on Tuesday:
1. Fees
As far as fees go, I have decided to take what we made from the car wash and the mini drill (which adds up to roughly over $900) and divided it amongst the girls that participated. This gives each girl roughly $65. I will take that off of the $600 Drill fee for each girl, meaning by the end of September, each girl will NEED to have the amount of $535 in their account. If you have already paid the entirety of the $600 please call or text me and we will talk about your situation.
2. Pictures
First: I informed the girls of this info this morning, but pictures will be EXTRA. So when you and/or your daughter arrive for your head shot and action shot on Saturday morning (September 7th) you will fill out an order form and turn that into the photographer along with a check or cash of $65. The $65 includes a print out of a head shot, team photo, and action shot.
Second: I also informed the girls of this info this morning but will be giving out a hand out on Tuesday for a reminder. Dress for the photos will be as follows:
Head shot: you can wear any nice clothing
Team Shot: Black or black and red sleeved or strapped knee length dress
Action shot: black jazz pants or shorts (tops will be there at the photoshoot)
Hair can be whatever you want.
Third: I will have a sign up sheet at class on Tuesday to sign up for times in the morning for head shots. After your headshot is done you have one of two options, stay and hang out until team photos or leave with a parent and be back for the scheduled team photo time. If you have ANY questions about this
3. Insurance
If you do not have your daughter under any insurance, for her to legally participate in Drill she has to be covered in some way shape or form. If you fall under this category, your daughter needs to talk to Kristy Proesh (her office is in the basement of the Field House) and get the paperwork to be part of the school insurance program which is like $25 a month. 4. Classic Drill Competitions
I know we decided Davis Valley was a no go and to instead go with Juan Diego, however I have not received any info for a competition at Juan Diego and cannot find one online. But one that I have heard good things about is the Falcon Classic held at Clearfield High school. SO the two Classics we will be attending this year are the Falcon Classic, which is January 3rd and 4th; and Murray Classic, which is January 10th and 11th. The calendar is updated with those dates. The only girls that I have down that have said they want to compete a solo this year is as follows: Emma, Paige, Liz, Emily, Kaydee. If your daughter wants to compete her solo this year please let me know by tonight! If you have any questions about this please let me know.
