Hello All!! If you haven’t already, please take some time to go over the newly updated calendar and go over what will be taking place the next couple months. It’s going to get busy!
The following are some important things coming up in the next couple weeks. The girls received a handout with all this information on Tuesday but just to make sure parents are aware, here ya go!
1. Wednesday, October 30th @ 4:30– 6:30 PM (West) – All State Tryout
I HIGHLY encourage all of you to attend and tryout. It will go toward extra credit just for participating. There will be 3 chosen and those 3 will be competing on November 6th at the All State Competition. Please come in your Green/Black top
2. October 28th @ 6:15 – 8:15 (Juan Diego High School) – Miss Drill Utah Clinic
I HIGHLY encourage all can participate do participate. It is an extra $86.50 to participate (out of pocket) but is an AMAZING experience. If you are AT ALL interested you must attend this Clinic on the 28th. It is $5.00 per dancer to attend clinic.

3. Monday, November 4th from 4:00 – 8:00 – Women Veteran Dinner Party
This is a community service/service project opportunity. Again, I HIGHLY encourage any of you that can participate in this very special opportunity. You will have the opportunity to welcome and serve the women veterans of Utah. You are to wear a black dress and flats and will be greeting guests as they enter the dinner party. Those that participate will be served food and receive extra credit as well for Drill.
4. Thursday, November 7th @ 4:45- 8:30 PM (810 South State Street) – Taco Time Fundraiser
Attendance is MANDATORY, so please get work off. We will be handing out flyers and welcoming people into Taco Time and will receive 10% of their profit that night. TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO COME PARTICIPATE! Everyone will be given 20 flyers to HANDOUT (not throw away). Make announcements in your classes, at your church activities, on FB etc… Any and all parent participation would be extremely helpful!
Attached is the flyer for the Taco Time Fundraiser on the 7th. Each of the girls will be given 20 flyers to hand out themselves but just in case you wanted more or wanted to put it on your social media sites, it is there for you to use.
